FACULTY PLCs

 

Please use the form here to sign up as a presenter for our Faculty PLCs.

 

 

Did you attend a fantastic District PD session or just decided to try something new on your own. We would like for you to share your talents with us as a learning community. Every other Monday we will host a Faculty Networking PLC to give our amazing faculty members the opportunity to share, learn and grow together. These PLCs will replace the traditional Faculty Meetings (unless District information needs to be delivered) but will take some pre-planning and preparation from all of us. 

 

Once the PLC topics are set for the week, a menu will be posted for participants to choose their PD sessions. Our goal is to offer 5 sessions for each PLC event (three 15-minute sessions and two 30-minute sessions for technology or more involved PD).

 

Since our administrative responsibilty is to check for understanding and monitor implementation, teachers will need to incorporate their new learnings into their upcoming lessons and be prepared to discuss how the strategies worked in their classroom.
